The International Bone and Mineral Society (IBMS) and the Japanese Society for Bone and Mineral Research (JSBMR) are excited to welcome you to the second joint scientific meeting sponsored by the two organizations. This joint meeting creates a unique environment for a top quality program. This meeting covers cutting-edge bone and mineralized tissue research, including the diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases as well as the latest science in molecular informatics and biology. You’ll find that the Scientific Program Committee has planned an exceptional array of educational sessions covering topic areas from cell biology to osteoporosis. Our hope is that this meeting provides you with an excellent venue to connect with others who share your passion to interact with the brightest minds in our field and to explore new product offerings from the industry’s leading vendors. Kobe, well known as an elegant city, is nestled between the coast and the Rokko mountain range and is one of Japan’s most beautiful cities. Make sure to plan time to visit some of the cities favorite attractions such as the Sorakuen Gardens, Kobe Harborland and Meriken Park. Kyoto and Osaka are also within a day-trip distance.
